Jade Logue created quite a commotion in 2017 when she went missing for two weeks. The daughter of Donal Logue & Kasey Walker, Jade came out as trans when she was just 15- years of age. Since then, she has identified as trans and is proud of her orientation. She has been supported by both her parents. While her mother Kasey Walker doesn’t have a ton of acting credits to her name, her father Donal Logue is renowned for the portrayal of detective Harvey Bullock, in Fox’s hit TV series, Gotham. Early Life:

Jade Logue was born as Arlo Logue on the 25th of March 2001. Born and raised to celebrity parents, Jade was thurst into fame from her early years. Her parents divorced when she was quite young, but have taken to co-parenting seriously. She is not only close to both her parents but also loves to dote on her little brother, Finn Logue. 

Coming out:

Around the time she was 15, Jade started realizing that she identified more as a female than as a male. In a bid to be who she really wanted to be, Jade decided to reveal her sexual orientation on Twitter. The tweet read, 

 “Shoutout to being trans cant wait to be assaulted for absolutely no reason other than existing.”

Following the admission, her parents have been incredibly supportive of Jade and want her to feel at home. She changed her name from Arlo to Jade. While her parents divorced when she was quite young, both her mother and father have been supportive of Jade’s decision.

Lost and found:

On the 17th of June, 2017, Donal Logue could not find or contact his daughter Jade. Jade, who was 16-years of age during the time, was nowhere to be found, despite’s Donal’s 12-day effort to find his daughter. The last time anyone had seen Jade was near the Barclays Center / Fort Greene in Brooklyn. Donal took to social media to help people find her daughter. The plea read,

“Whoever knows where she is, whoever may be with her– clearly this thing has become big and crazy. The net has been flung far and wide and luckily, I have dogged teams from the NYPD, FBI, and others involved. The point is, you may have had good intentions to help her, but I’m sure you realize that this situation is bigger than you could’ve anticipated. Just drop her off. Let her get back in touch with her mother, Kasey, or me, we’ll take her back, with hugs and no questions asked.”

Jade’s mother, Kasey shared Donal’s plea on Facebook hitting back at people who said that Jade must have simply run away. She wanted people to understand that while it was Jade’s story to tell, she had nothing but support from the family. 

It got to a point where everyone from the entertainment industry took to social media to help located Jade. The NYPD sent out a public notice to assist in the search and Jade was found two weeks later. Donal revealed the news thanking everyone who had been a part of the search.

“Thank you ALL for the love and support. We are good. Kasey and I wish to thank the NYPD. FBI, @MissingKids and countless others.”
