Bits and pieces:

After graduating high school, Michael enrolled at McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in Business Administration. Following his graduation, Micahel began working at Deutsche Banc Alex as an analyst. Over the years, Michael started closing in massive real estate deals which landed him a position at The Carlyle Group. In light of his contribution to the company, Michael was promoted to the post of Managing director of the group in 2014.
Personal life and marriage:
Michael met Kate at Georgetown University in around 2005. The pair started dating soon after and tied the knot five years later on the 30th of May 2010. In a decade as a married couple, Michael and Kate are proud parents of two lovely daughters. Their eldest daughter Cecelia Eve Gershenson was born in September of 2014, and their youngest Delphine Esther Gershenson in December of 2017. The pair continue to enjoy a happy life and there has been no news of a possible rift between the couple.
Wife: Kate Bolduan
Michael rose to fame following his marriage to Kate Bolduan. While Michael rarely likes media attention, Kate has spent most of her life in front of a camera. Born and raised in Goshen, Indiana, Kate is the third of four daughters born to Dr. Jeffrey Bolduan, and Nadine Bolduan, a nurse. Like her elder siblings, Kate joined the Goshen High School and went off to Georgetown, which was where she met Michael. After graduating with a degree in journalism in 2005, Kate jumped straight to work and started working as a full-time news reporter.
After graduating, Kate worked as a general assignment reporter for WTVD-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina, but later moved on with a production assistant role for NBC News and MSNBC. She joined CNN in 2007 and worked as a national correspondent for CNN Newsource. She has since continued to work with CNN and has hosted a wide range of shows. On the 17th of June, 2013, Kate was announced as the new host of the CNN show, New Day. The weekday morning television show aired on CNN and made Kate the youngest morning show anchor. In 2015, Kate joined the cast for a brand new news show, @This Hour, which premiered on January 26, 2015. Kate was also the host of the State of America with Kate Bolduan, which discussed the 2016 presidential election. Even though the network started airing news after the election, it was shut down in 2019.
