Cobra Kai Season 5 release date, trailer, cast for the Netflix karate show

Cobra Kai Season 5 has been one of the much-awaited series after its 4th Season release on 31st December 2021 on Netflix. And now fans are quite excited and want to know every detail about Season 5 of the show. Here we came up with a pile of information about the cast, release date, and many more.

Who could return in COBRA KAI SEASON 5?

The characters from the Cobra Kai Season 4 will surely return and the new characters from the Karate Kids are also expected to appear in season five. As we witness few characters from the Karate Kids had already appeared on Cobra Kai Season 4, and it has changed the dynamics between the main leads, Something much like that is expected in the new season too. The upcoming season features the return of Karate Kid III villain Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith).

Is COBRA KAI SEASON 5 the last season?

The creators and co-creators of the show Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald, and Hayden Schlossberg has already made clear in January 2021 that season 4 is not the end of the series, it will require many more seasons to fill the story. In an interview showrunners said,

“There are still many twists and turns and crowd-pleasing moments to be had before we reach the endgame that we’ve been planning since the beginning. We can’t go into too much detail about plans beyond Season 4, except to say that there is definitely a lot more story left to tell in the Karate Kid/Cobra Kai universe.”

The Expected Release Date of SEASON 5

Back in August 2021, Netflix renewed the series for another season and let us know by making a Twitter post stating “The dojo is about to be 5x as rad. Cobra Kai has been renewed for a 5th season.” Season 5 was confirmed before the premiere of season 4. One of Cobra Kai‘s masterminds, Jon Hurwitz, has already announced that filming for the next season has already wrapped. It means that the show is already under-production where they will take quality time editing and producing the 5th season and we will soon be notified by the showrunner on their plan of releasing Cobra Kai Season 5. 

Since the start of Cobra Kai season 1, the producing crew is always feeding us the next season with no year gap, so we can assume that by the end of 2022 or early 2023 we will be watching Season 5 on Netflix.
