Jeff Headlee is the researcher of the AIMS group and has quite the task in his hands. In charge of recording any sightings, events, or practically any information the team comes through, Jeff’s importance to the team cannot be overestimated. Not only does Jeff record the information, but he also analyzes them to see if any patterns can be used as a new lead for the group to explore. Jeff got into mountain exploration after his dog was attacked and has been searching for the culprit ever since. In this article, we will take a closer look at the wiki-bio of Jeff Headlee. 

Early Life:

Jeff Headlee was born on 21st of December 1957, in Vienna, West Virginia. Born and raised in West Virginia, Jeff loved exploration from a young age and spent most of his early life in nature along side his mother Mildred Headlee. He attended Parkersburg High School and went off to West Virginia University after graduating. 

Personal Vendetta:

After graduating from University, Jeff settled near the forests and had an amazing life. However, things changed for Jeff when an unidentified animal attacked his dog. Following the assault, Jeff started looking into bite marks, and monster tracks to identify the animal. After failing to come up with any results, Jeff expanded his field of search and started looking into mythical creatures. Around the same time, Jeff met Trapper and Willy, and the trio shared experiences. They stuck together throughout the years and started the Alappachian Investigators of Mythical Creatures. Since then, the trio has come a long way and has expanded the group to include members from all around the world. 

Mountain Monsters:

Jeff was cast alongside John and Willy when the AIMS team was asked to feature on the reality TV series, Mountain Monsters. The researcher of the group, Jeff was left in charge of the thermal camera during the team’s nightly hunts and was also in charge of organizing witnesses for the team to explore.

Even though Jeff has established himself as the only one capable of handling the research, his first few seasons on the show were not too kind to the man. During the first two seasons of the show, Jeff simply recorded too many sightings which made it difficult for the rest of the group to sort through the information. However, as the seasons progressed, Jeff got more proficient in classifying promising leads from hoax sightings. One of the first three members of the show, Jeff has continued his run on the series even after the passing of John Tice.

Personal Life:

Jeff Headlee is happily married to his wife, Tammy Diane Snyder. The pair tied the knot on the 21st of July, 1990, and have been together ever since. Like Jeff, Tammy was born and raised in West Virginia and the pair met during their time in high school. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Waterford, Ohio, and currently live there with their two sons, Cody and Alex Headlee.
