Charles Pol was born on the 6th of March 1979 in Central Michigan’s farm county. Born to unidentified parents, Charles and his sister, Kathy Pol, was adopted by Dr. Jan Pol and Diane Pol right from birth. Raised in Central Michigan, Charles began working as his father’s assistant from a very young age and would help out his father with his work on the clinic. While Charles knew the basics of veterinary science, he decided to move to Hollywood. After graduating from the University of Miami in 2003 with a communication major, Charles moved to Los Angeles.

Professional Career:

Right after his switch to Los Angeles, Charles got an opportunity to work for popular media houses including Paramount Pictures, Parkway production, and Mirage Enterprises. During his early years, Charles also got the chance to learn from the late Hollywood legend Sydney Pollack. Charles worked in production from 2004 and pitched the idea for The Incredible Dr. Pol to a host of different channels. After being rejected by a bunch of them, Charles was finally able to get his project off the ground and featured as the executive producer of the reality TV series, The Incredible Dr. Pol. Alongside his work on The Incredible Dr. Pol (2011), Charles has also worked on The Legend of Sheriff Gus Skinner (2013) and Calling Dr. Pol (2014).

Charles has been an instrumental factor in making sure that the series took off the ground without the hitch. From convincing the network to give the series a go, to convincing his father that his work was interesting, Charles has done it all. It is thanks to his early efforts that the series is currently in its 17th season and is still going strong.

Charles Pol is happily married to Beth Oakes. The pair have known each other since childhood, and while the relationship came much after, Charles and Beth never lost touch. The pair began dating in 2017 and decided to tie the knot in 2018 and have a baby daughter Abigail who was born on the 19th of October, 2019. Following the birth of their daughter, Charles gave an exclusive interview with People expressing his joy.
